I was on good anti-nausea medications, but the Gold Kili seemed to work better than anything--really soothing. I thought that it was so helpful that I gave a box to my oncologist and to the social worker at the hospital so they could give packets out to people to try. My brother included a box of this in a care package that he sent to me while I was undergoing chemotherapy. I had a cup with me all the time, warm or cold. Now I send a box to any friend or relative who's undergoing chemotherapy. He and his wife drink it themselves and just like the taste. Its only ingredients are ginger and honey.I found right away that it did wonders for my nausea.
For a real treat, combine about 1/3 a packet of Gold Kili with a cup of green tea. If you have a foamer, foam the soymilk first, and put nutmeg on top. I got into this in California, where I lived near Chinatown, and many people are involved with herbal products. After it's brewed, add vanilla soymilk. YUM. Ginger is very effective at fighting inflammation and settling your stomach. But hey, the REAL reason I MUST have it is the taste.
A friend lent me a packet, glad I found your "store" in Amazon.com.very hard to find otherwise. What an Excellent hot "tea drink" for dry, irritated throats. It's warmth and ingredients do the trick for quieting coughs due to allergies, dry home air in the winter, etc.
Therefore, I have become quite a big fan of this product.I just wish it were easier to find. I feel satisfied and relaxed after having had my regular end-of-the-day cup. Having tried many other ginger-related beverages with meager interest, I was fortunate to have stumbled upon this one through a friend. It had the best flavor with that desired ginger "bite" throughout the drink.
Very good for you, too. And it has a sweetness to it.
